I read somewhere that Roses were really difficult to make in 3D. I looked up a few tutorials and they were so so but they were all for rendering and such they worked with non-manifold meshes that would be impossible to print. So I created my own method that worked really well. Completely water tight. I was not really planning what to do with it when I started but (after buying red and green transparent resin) this is where it ended up.
